JS White grew up in Irmo, South Carolina where he enlisted in the Marines after high school. He served from 2006-2012 and has conducted counter-terrorism operations in the Anbar province in Iraq and Helmund Province in Afghanistan, where he worked with a small team training a company sized Afghan National Police element where his company was awarded a Presidential Unit Citation. In 2016 he graduated from the University of South Carolina with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.  He entered a career in Project Management for a mechanical contracting company, and worked there for the next 7 years managing large scale construction projects, and worked as the training coordinator for all the company apprentice employees. 

The shop is currently located in between Orangeburg and Columbia area and stocks a wide variety of handguns, rifles, shotguns, ammunition, silencers, and accessories…most special items can be brought to the store in a couple days.

JS offers cleaning, armorer services, custom ammunition, and runs the sales floor at Sandy Run Arms & Ammo.  In his free time he likes to go backpacking, exploring the outdoors with his friends, off-roading in his 4runner, training Jiu Jitsu, and attending firearms training courses.
